Used Cheated and Theated

Well it's begining to happen...people other than ourselves (haha) REALLY like our album. It's such a personal relief that the one thing you put "all your eggs into" is all becoming worth it. So far, within 1 month, "But No No No" has reached #1 in the Alternative Pop genre, #1 in ALL GENRES, AND now yesterday became #1 on the KIAC Radio BIG 50! It has also been #1 on Cashbox Magazine for 4 weeks in a row now too! It's crazy! It seems like one of thos things that you see this happening to a band and you think to yourself "They must have paid someone off!"...but it's happening all on it's own. It's truly a dream coming true. Here listen for yourself, see if you like it:

Something else funny that happened:
So that guy, Chris Crocker who did the video on YouTube screaming and crying "You Leave Britney Alone!" ...yeah you know the one! haha
SO in his long sppech he goes on to describe Kevin Federline as a "user and a cheater" ! OKAY LOVE IT! Since our Album is "Users Cheater Theatres"... it's exactly what the album is about.
So we are maiking our new T-Shirts saying "USER" or "CHEATER" ...you can decide what you are! :)

Reaching a Milestone

How do you know when you've reached a milestone in your life? When do the Dixie Chicks know to add more little chick tattoos to their feet? I guess you just feel it. I'm feeling it now. Last Friday we completed and released our first full-length album "Users Cheaters Theatres" via the web(MySpace & IAC Radio). (It will be released in stores in September.) And immeditely, within 1 day of posting it, the reaction has been amazing! I'm at a loss for words, which is rare! haha The album took a year and a half from the start of the recording back in Feb 2006. But really for me & John, it's been over 2 years!
We started trying to record this album back in May 2005 but we had some obstacles. BUT then we gained Rob Zero right around that time and also wrote a few songs, like "You Taught Me Well" that would have never existed if we would have recorded it then. Then we were going to record that Fall (we even recorded some of the tracks) and lost a band member, so then it was put on hold. But then we got Nolaig! So we made him learn all of the songs in like 3 weeks (hahaha poor Noel) and then we finally started recording that Feb.
So when we completed the CD the other night, I became really happy. It's wierd. I don't consider myself a "happy" person, but I really love this album and didn't realize how much it would affect me. I've been up to about 5am every night and sleeping only about 2 hrs, just for fun (not tired) b/c I'm like high on life or something lame like that. haha
Anywho! Hope you enjoy the album and what we did with it. There are alot of "Easter Egg" type things that people have already caught on to in this album so I'll give you a heads up about it!
